Dabney Homes Portfolio, page 2

Here are photos (January 2005), of a completed home at 571 Polo Club Drive. The 3,792 square foot, four bedroom/four bath home has been sold. Dabney Homes has finished construction on a home next door to it. The new home is similar in size, but different in style and layout. The featured two-story, custom home is built of native stone.

The floors are one of the first things one notices upon stepping into the expansive entry hall. Travertine is inset into strained and scored concrete. The scored and strained concrete is present in the downstairs living areas. The study, located off the entrance hall on the left, has distressed hickory flooring. Bedrooms and staircases are carpeted in a neutral tone.

The main living area features an open floor plan where the dining room, living room and kitchen flow into one open area. Exposed cedar beams in the living room ceiling add a rustic, warm feel to the room, as does the massive stone fireplace and mantel. Built-in knotty hickory shelving and cabinetry in the living room and kitchen are completed by stunning lapudious granite kitchen countertops, and stainless steel KitchenAid appliances. The house has lots of little extras, that delight, too. A wine refrigerator in the kitchen is tucked under the island, a built-in ironing board in the master closet couldn't be handier, and an ornate water fountain on the back porch ads an elegant touch.

This home was built to be enjoyed by family and friends. Many happy evenings will be spent on the back porch around the built-in grill listening to the whirl of the ceiling fan on warm summer evenings. Another cozy living area upstairs will be great for the children and their friends. The home also features a three-car garage and an adjacent utility room with its own outside entrance.

This home was on the market less than a week after it was finished. Jack can only build a limited number of homes each year, since his attention to detail is so great. However, if you see yourself in a home like this one, call Jack about building your dream home, or contact him about the home to be built next door-- and just be sure to be first in line! It will be as nice as this one, only different.
